Why Us?

It's a funny story how we got into this business. A friend and I were building our new homes at about the same time. Building a new home is an exciting process. We'd stop by each other's place and watch the progress.

One night one of us was reading a magazine that had a nice story in it about foam insulation. We both agreed that we'd add it to our homes as a money saving option. Seriously, it made a lot of sense to us to have foam verses regular insulation. It was one of those things that cost a little more upfront, but paid for itself in the long run. And we both wanted to save money. Who doesn't?

But first we needed to find a local company that offered it. We jumped online and searched through our phone books. There were five different companies we found in the Valley that sold it. Cool!

So we thought we'd call all five companies and get the best deal. Like I said... We're all about saving money.

The next part you may not believe. We sure didn't. Of the five companies only one returned our call. So we continued to call over and over until we reached one more. Then we gave up.

Now it was time for the two companies to come over, measure our walls and roof, and give us their best price. We set two appointments and neither one showed up or called to reschedule. We just could not believe it.

So we tried again. Neither one apologized for standing us up and rescheduled for another day. Once again, neither showed up. It became a joke. We were amazed that a company would buy an expensive ad in the Yellow Pages and then run such a poor operation.

After being stood up twice we decided that we'd buy our own machinery and do it ourselves. It was a pretty simple thing to learn and now we offer our services to other people who want to save money on their electric bill. Pretty unusual, huh?
